Practices will be held at Smithfield Elementary School on Tuesdays and Thursdays 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm. After Football season ends, practices will be held at the South Meck Practice Field on Tuesdays and Thursdays 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm. New Players WELCOME!!

Rugby Fall Clinics 11/11 & 11/18
South Meck Rugby will host the first of two Rugby 101 Clinics on Saturday, Nov 11 from 9am to 1pm with lunch to follow and the second one will be on Saturday, Nov 18 1pm to 3pm. The clinics are free of charge and no commitment is necessary. Just come out and give Rugby a “try”. Go to top of this page and click on 2017-2018 REGISTRATION. Only Step #1 is required.

It is our pleasure to announce South Meck Rugby has today won the Great Pumpkin Fall 7s Tournament! 4-0 beating Rocky River 33-5, North Raleigh TBA, Hough 31-14, and finally Myers Park HS 34-0!!! Very proud of our young gentlemen who obviously hustled their way to become the tournament CHAMPIONS!

Important Announcements
- TOMORROW…. is the last day to turn in BBQ tickets at your lunchtime. PLEASE turn in all bought and unused tickets. We really want to make a good impression of how visible we are as a team.
- CLUB DAY has been set for Wednesday October 4th at the cafeteria. We will have a booth set up and flyers available advertising the Player/Parent meeting set to happen in mid-October. We need returning players to sign up and help man the booth during the 5 lunch shifts. Email Hope at southmeckrugby@gmail.com if you are interested. This will count as a volunteering credit. Make sure to put Hope’s name in the subject field.
- Coach Hayes needs at least 8 players to help the Booster Club BBQ folks clean up at 5pm on Friday October 6th and at least 4 players to help out with FB Concessions on October 20th. Email Hope if you can help in either capacity.
